It affects all of us, and we must all make the right choices.

At Copper Hair & Spa we believe that we can and should contribute to a cleaner, greener, and fairer society.

This goes far beyond meeting current environmental legislation, it means we strive to operate in an ethical manner across the whole of our business and we actively look for ways to improve our environmental and social impact.

1. Energy & Water - We get through a lot of hot water - but not as much as we used to now that we've fitted water saving shower heads on our basins. We've also recently fitted a more efficient water heating system.
2. We're replacing our light bulbs with low energy alternatives.
   
3. We help our suppliers deliver the goods more efficiently by placing fewer, larger orders.
4. We are pleased to give local school kids the opportunity to work in a busy salon - to help them make the right career choices.
5. We use fair-trade products where possible.
6. We have committed to donating a percentage of our annual profits to local charities.
7. And we try to do business with people who think like us: part of the reason that we are so pleased to use Aveda products.
